At Kings Kolache, we’re bringing Texas breakfast to the Brooklyn coffee shop, serving up breakfast tacos and hand-made Kolaches daily, fresh from the oven~

What’s a kolache?! Great question! Kolaches are fluffy semi-sweet buns with sweet or savory fillings baked inside. Traditionally they’re a Czech dessert that was made popular by Czech and German immigrants to America in the early 1900s. Many of these folks became cowboys and decided to add meat and cheese and BBQ to this dessert pastry. Traditionally they can be found at road-stops throughout Texas and other parts of the Mid-west.

Our daily rotating menu has traditional Czech and Texas flavors like the Bueberry & Sweet Cheese kolache, and the Smoked Sausage, Jalapeno & Cheddar kolache, plus a few wacky flavors like the Everything Bagel Kolache or the Elote Kolache

Think of us as your very own Texas Road-stop & Bakery - just swap out the deisel fuel for a good cup of coffee. That’s right we’re talkin’ bout frito pies, breakfast tacos, that diner-style white queso that’s so hard to find, Whataburger spicy ketchup and yes, even coffee brewed with beans shipped up from our buds down in Austin: Mozart’s Coffee Roastery!
